TH Colonel Coyote is a great asset to the Cowboy’s Dream Ranch breeding program. We pride ourselves on his ability to pass along not only his excellent pedigree but his wonderful dispostition. We feel he has the best of both worlds on his side. Between having the winners of
cutting and racing on his pedigree, his foals are filled with not only good mind set, but great athletic ability for all styles of riding. His foals are currently being used for all styles of riding including roping, barrel racing, cutting, pleasure riding and also in showing in the Halter arena.

Colonel Freckles is a Grandson of AAA Sprinter and Leading Sire, Sugar Bars, and AQHA Champion, Superior in cutting and won the NCHA Bronze Award, Rey Jay. Adding to the list of greats on his pedigree would be Rebel Cause, who is an AQHA Racing Champion and sire of winners of over $2.9 billion ROM Race.

Colonel is unshown due to a leg injury he sustained as a foal, which in turn made him not eligible as a working horse. We use him here at the ranch for pleasure riding and for breeding.

With his wonderful dispostion being so calm and gentle, it allows for easy handling during breeding. He is a complete gentleman and non-agressive to the mares. He will always let you know if the mare is not ready. Our farrier calls him a “good soal” and says he’s the best
natured stallion he has ever worked with. He wishes there were more of him out there.
